I am leaving on vacation in 12hrs and wanted to get a quick blog post written before that. As I said in my last blog post I am going on vacation to OR with my GF and son to visit her mom. This is my first time meeting her, so hopefully I make a good first impression lol. I’m not looking forward to the 14hr drive, and sadly only have about 8hrs of videos ready to go right now. But I also have about 10hrs of new music, so hopefully it’s good stuff. And luckily the GF likes to do a lot of long distance driving, so I might be able to actually watch movies and sleep =)

Everything else has been going well. Got 90% of the work done that I wanted to this week, so no real complaints. I’ve also been getting some really nice compliments from the free video I released (hint, if you want it, just enter your email address over to the right!). And speaking of videos, some new Fuzzypup videos have been added to the videos page, so if you are interested in some poker psychology videos, give those a watch.

My new computer also arrived! I officially own my first ever desktop, and must say that I love it so far. It’s an all-in-one touchscreen 23″ machine, with 3.1 GHz and 8GB of ram. I tried to upgrade it to 12GB, but the computer would only accept 4 2GB chips (no 4GB chips). The 12GB upgrade ended up killing the computer, but luckily a quick trip to BestBuy fixed it up. I’m very happy about it so far, and hopefully it’ll last me for more than a year like most of my laptops do. Killing laptops is a part-time job for me =)

And with that, I’m going to finish packing and then go chill before waking up early to get driving. Hope all is well, and Merry Xmas to those who celebrate!

My bad on the lack of updates. I meant to write a blog post a few days back…but whiffed on that due to getting consumed with a video project. As the title says, I’ve been doing a lot of videos recently. Some for pokerbank, some for other sources, and some for the poker store. I also played a lil poker over the weekend (dare I say “more of the same”), and have been trying to finish a ton of work before I leave on vacation next week. We are all going up to my GF’s mom’s place in OR (which is only like a 14hr drive each way)…so that should be fun =)

I also spent a lot of time the other day offering a free video. Wednesday was spent getting my new Database Leak Finding video done for the SSPS. The video is 42 minutes of me going through a 100NL database finding leaks, running filters, and digging down with more advanced filters. This video is pretty perfect for anyone who struggles using their DB or needs helps digging a little deeper. I’m releasing it at $45, which is a steal if you consider what I charge for LeakFinders normally. Check it out to also see screenshots and a snippet of the video!

As the title said I did play a lil poker last week. My fun hand was one where there was an ISO to $10, a call by the button, and I squeezed to $36. The ISO’er shoved for $80 total, and the button stall called after a ton of deliberation. I over-shoved and button called another $60 more with AK (ISO’er had JJ). Needless to say I actually lost to both of them (66TJQ). I then ground back a little bit and played this hand. Open to $10 with KK from MP. He calls next to act and we go HU. Flop is 7s4d2c. I bet $18 and he calls. Turn is a 6c and I check. He bets $30 and I CR up to $93. There are only 2 combos of 76s, I think some of the flopped set combos are discounted given the way he had been playing, and also he would overvalue 88+ against me given I looked tilty from the AA hand. Needless to say (again!) he shoved and I called. His 76s held and I just decided to leave. It must be so nice to hit his 5 outs…and yet when I have 8 outs I brick mine. Forever rungood!

The week seemed really rushed and busy. I decided to put a big project on myself over the weekend and create a poker store for this site. I wanted to make finding products easier, allow for a cart, and make it better to look at. After about 12hrs of work, I am finally able to show it off. I’ve also been doing some more coaching (which I mentioned in the last blog post). Been doing some LeakFinders, some 1-on-1, and the increase has been feeling right. I’m also thinking I’m going to make another premium video, so if you have any ideas just let me know in the comments. I want to do something different, and have some ideas…but I can always use more. I am also 2 videos away from releasing my 100th poker video…so maybe I’ll try to make that my 100th video =)

Everything else has been going well. I’ve been feeling like I’m gaining weight lately (which I don’t appreciate), so I’ve started trying to burn some more calories during the work day. One thing I used to be good at was only really eating out if it was sushi or a “reward” for crushing. Well either I’ve began crushing way more often, or my standards for crushing have lessened…and I’ve been eating out too much. So that needs to stop, and I need to continue keeping my heart rate up every day. Always so much to keep an eye on…
