April 1 – Happy April Fool’s Day!

So I landed back in Vegas late on Tuesday and have been catching up ever since. Everything from getting my dog acclimated to paying bills, the last few days have been a lil stressful. I got back to Vegas with a stack of mail about 6 inches high, and I’m pretty sure it took me about 3hrs over the last few days to get through it all, lol. It never ceases to amaze me how much stuff can back up over a month. O well, I am getting back into the swing of everything, which is nice (especially with the nice weather!)

Speaking of the nice weather, I am trying to make sure I get out for at least a 1/2hr walk every day with the dog. That’s really all he needs to get worn out and tired, and it keeps me outside and walking, which is never bad for the ol body. Speaking of the body, I got a life in last night which was epic. There is nothing harder than the first lift in a month, lol. I don’t even think I made it a full hour, but it felt good to sweat again. Hopefully I can get back on my 3x/week regiment, and regain some of my strength and discipline.
I’m not sure if I mentioned this in an earlier post, but I am going to be taking April pretty easy. I never willingly play poker in April anyway (it is my brother’s brithday month and I’ve always had a tough time with it)…so I figured I would actually take the coaching load a little easier and get a lot of writing and video stuff done. I want to make another free video for this site, another premium one, and I have a side project as well (which will be free videos, and I’ll link it once it’s released). I just wish I wasn’t such a nit and didn’t need to spend insane amounts of time on the videos…but I guess there is something to be said for making incredibly high quality videos that you can be proud of =)
Everything else has been going alright. Still deciding how I want to handle my diet (as my doctor’s report was super healthy, which makes me think that I can eat whatever i want, lol)…but so far I have been much healthier since being back in Vegas. I have also been waking up at 8a every day, which is super odd for me. I don’t mind it, except that I feel super tired around 9p at night. I have to decide if I want to keep this schedule or not…but there are worse things to have to worry about. And on that note, I am going to go prep the students for the day. Hope all is well!
