Fair points, although I think ratcheting things down to 5% is over-adjusting if you can give the villain credit for 3-betting you wide. And, asides from that, you can limp as well with a tightened range and let him bet your hand for you, especially if he just thinks he is iso-raising. Of course, if he is on your immediate left, where you don't have him out of position quite often enough to play back optimally, I will admit that getting up isn't a bad option.

"I think it’s far better to just go into TAG mode, practice that, and, as a bonus, take advantage of your image. "

while yes, this is awesome if possible...but do you want to sit there for an hour hoping you get a top 5% hand, and hope you don't get into too tough a spot with TT/JJ?

I'm not sure about you...but I'd rather get on a new tight table and start pumping my WR rather than wasting an hour of my life for MAYBE a cooler pot. Also, remember, he could be doing what you are doing at that point...and by that, i mean being aggro...but still not creating an AI pot without a big hand...so then your image does shit for you

N.B. I'm being informed by various online sources that "reaping the whirlwind" means the diametrical opposite of what I always thought it meant. I guess I've both never bothered to read Hosea and seen The Wizard of Oz too many times. Flying over rainbows is good -- that's where the pot of gold is, n'est-ce pas?

"you cannot be a good LAG if you cannot TAG well" This is really good advice. Where you said in your last video about leaving the table if players to your left start 3 betting too much, I think it's far better to just go into TAG mode, practice that, and, as a bonus, take advantage of your image. You can practically reap the whirlwind from players who, by 3betting, are making you play more correctly but who don't figure out that you are adjusting. More generally, I'd suggest something you didn't say in so many words: it's not that losing LAGs play an extra 10 or 15% of hands, it's that they play the wrong extra 10 or 15% of hands.

It's a real shame I'm a stubborn fool who can't be taught nothing. But, still: ramble on!
