		<description>thank you digger.  I have actually started putting Family Guy on 1hr before I go to sleep...the show puts me to sleep pretty easily (esp the episodes I have seen 20+ times, lol).  At the moment the big issue is getting to bed at a &quot;good&quot; time...but being that I need/want to be up at 4a...there is no such thing as a good bedtime.

And sex is always a good option =)

		<description>Basically try and remove or reduce stimulation.

With the possible exception of sex which can be very good in getting you off to sleep - although that might not be popular with your partner. :)</description>

		<description>This might sound silly - but if you are having trouble sleeping - maybe a little bit of preparation is in order.

I would try and replicate a routine of what you are doing before you get a good nights rest.

I would avoid eating or drinking for at least one hour before sleep as well as showering.

Try and wind yourself down by slowing down everything that you do in that last hour. 
Sitting and reading a book whilst you are tired is a good start.</description>
